Help!!! Building an E-Revo as a new RC basher - 06.26.2007, 05:10 AM

Let me start off by saying I am new to the RC world. I have jumped in with both feet running but am still very new. I got started when guys in my home town started a Revo club. I have never been interested in nitro. So I built a brushless Stampede that can beat the body off a nitro revo if the conditions of the track are in my favor and my tires stay glued. My set up: Lehner basic XL, Mamba Max ESC, 6000 mah Lipo, DX2 spectrum radio. I got tired of hearing about never being able to do it with a Revo and if I never went to Nitro I wouldn't get any where. Then I read about the E-Revo's. Lots of stuff to read but way out of my ballpark. So I jumped right in and bought a good start. Its the chassis with a G3R (not the G2R) with upgrades. The tranny is the Emaxx 2 speed. Heres my problem: What motor do I run? I want to continue to run the MM ESC because I love the thing on my Stampede. I like the Lehner motor I run to. Should I stick with Lehner? 1940 or 1950 maybe? Then I will run Lipo's. I want 2 of them on the car but not tied together. I want the balance but I want a lot of run time. I feel if you run one battery for 25 minutes then the other you will have more run time then tying them together and getting about 35 minutes of run time. Am I wrong in this thinking? I will not be doing much racing. More bashing then anything. I am just way to new for this to do it on my own. Anything that will help me in my conquest will be great. Thanks. Again I might be over thinking all this so ANY info is needed.
