you will be fine sticking with the mamba max ESC not to sure on the specs of Lehner motors so ill let some one else answer that ive all ways stuck to cheap ones :P

batteres there are 2 ways of wiring them together if you are only going to have one plugged in there is little point in mounting 2 in the car as its just un needed weight.

first way is to wire them in series this wil increase the voltage and give you more speed and the second way is in parrallel this will increase the run time if the packs are the same it will roughly double the run time.
