It probably doesn't matter for our low average current draws but the boat guys have found that deans are good for up to 70Amps continuous, over that and you need 5.5 or 6mm bullets.
I switched from powerpoles to 4mm bullets and think that 4mm have the edge in resistance, but there is not much in it, if your setup is oK with one, either will be fine, I made the made the switch mostly for availability and price over here. I have never used deans, other than deans micros, so I can't compare the 3
Even poxy Tamiya connectors have less resistance than the wire (as long as the wire is 500 gauge), that statement is just marketing BS.
