Just thought about it some more.
Both manufacturers have some type of individual cell voltage monitor. However the fma charger can monitor the individual cells of the car pack (3s2p 6400mah) as it charges and adjust or stop the charge to each cell as necessary.
Kokam setup $119 (USD) charger + 299 (USD) battery (3s2p 6400mah)
Vs.
polyquest setup $195 (3s1p) 6000mah + $39 lipo charger
Again depends on how bare or lush your money is out in the backyard!
