New people see my truck running and they come over to ask about it. I start telling them about buying a Nitro kit, adding this brace and that motor mount and these custom battery cups and cutting here and drilling there and this speedo and that motor...they usually gloss over by the battery cups.
I wish it were not that way.
I hope it won't be for long. (but I'm not holding my breath).

true but I think the electric days will come back. when you run your e-crt I am sure a lot of nitro guys check it out. They might bust on you for running a "flashlight" but the real racers know that flightlight could put some hurting on there buggy.
So I still believe our day will come. With the advancement of lipos and brushless motors it should just be a matter of time. I look at traxxas as an example they just did there vxl series which comes with brushless and all there advertised speeds are with a lipo pack. Some manufacter will eventually do the same thing with a truggy.
Now by looking at my sig you can tell that I would prefer it to be a losi but I think traxxas will do it first, but that is just my opinion.
