This information was included with the Schulze charger as a special addendum for "Notes on the Maintenance of LI-PO batteries"

Sweet!!! I was getting ready to type this text from their form in here. But before I did, I googled it and found it.
Here is a link

I suspect that if I were to purchase the 6s2p packs I could possibly gain some performance (maybe) by having the rates (charge and discharge) matched between the individual cell packs that are combined to make the larger pack. But I don't beleive that someone can predict that any 12 cell packs will perform similar over the duration of a batteries life. In other words if a "selected or matched" pack has a similar set of performance criteria or numbers after 3 charge and discharges, there is nothing to say that after 20 or 50 or more cycles that they will still be matched.
I used to Bass Fish competitively and the deep cycle 12volt batteries used to run trolling batteries would vary tremendously even from the same manufacturer production run. I would commonly have 4 12 volt batteries 3 of which were hooked up to a 36 volt trolling motor. I would hammer these batteries 2 or 3 times a week sometimes and then have them maintained by the same 4 bank battery conditioner. They never were separated or charged or discharged apart from this exact configuration. But some batteries would fail in less than a season and some might make it 3.
Does this make any sense related to these also??
Mike, Serum, anyone else have any practical experience or real world stories?
