Problem with 2s is that the motor has to have a higher kv than a 3 or 4s suitable motor. Kv is the rpm per volt that the motor will rotate. To get best efffecientcy and least heat keep motor rpm to around 35 thousand rpm. A motor that will turn that fast on 2s will draw more current than a motor that spins 35k on 3 or 4s. You will need better batteries for a high powered 2s setup than a 3 or 4s setup because of amp draw. i use a maxamps 4000 4s pack, if you were going 2s, the same runtime may require an 8000 2s pack, and everything (motor,esc and batteries) will run hotter. Lower kv motors and higher voltage just work better than the opposite. The ls10, is 10th scale, the lsp is 1/8th scale. I have both and they are both nice trucks for the price, howver the ls10 will be cheaper to setup as it is smaller and lighter, thus will require less power to run the same as the lsp.
