The 9L with the 9920 controller seems to be a popular choice for 12 cells.I'm new here too and don't pretend to be an expert on brushless but Mike will keep you right.

Getting the gearing right is vital with any brushless set up so see what spurs you have or can use with the twin force and also maybe the diff ratio and mike can probably recommend pinions for you.
