Fans really aren't designed to cool ESC's either. They are too fragile. I've busted lots of fans now! If they were built tougher, just imagine how cool we could be running. The NMB-MAT brand of fan seems to be a little tougher, but it still needs some re-enforcing.

Brian, where do you get your heatsinks from? they seem like they can be hard to find in the right size.
