Well, I wouldn't say that anymore Jnev.... AAngel is running a 1515/2.5D on 6s lipo and he says it's running very cool, which I have found to be true as well for Neu's. They seem to like the higher rpm's along with a lighter load, which all motors "should" like, but motors such as feigao's do not have a segmented rotor, so they can't handle low loads/higher rpm's as well as the higher end motors.
I am running a 1512/3D (1700kv) on 23volts, and it runs quite cool, geared for 47mph, it gets up to 150F on a warm summer day. But, I am thinking I want a 1515 motor now, to give it a try.
So if anyone wants a 1512/3D Neu, or wants to do a trade up for a 1515/2.5D, send me a PM.
