Thumbs up What Have I Been Missing??? - 10.10.2007, 10:24 AM

It has been quite some time since I have visited the forum, but I have been on here all day reading some of the stories and build issues. Your trucks are very nice and I agree with you about your philosiphies on building these monsters. If you are going to do it, then do it right the first time or why bother. My wife bought me an EMAXX for my birthday 2 years ago to fulfill a childhood dream. We now have three complete metal monsters and one in the building phase at the moment. I build like you. Super strong, super fast, and super cool. I want my vehicles to not just run good, but look awesome as well. It may take a little bit longer to complete a project, but when the job is done you are assured that it will not break down while you are out having fun with it. Steel, titanium, and aluminum is the way to go for longevity. Brushless is also a costly means of power, but well worth the efforts and the $$$$ spent once you are out there bashing or racing your friends. Leaving a lasting impression on people is so much fun, and when they start asking you where to get the products you have is cool.

I began to upgrade my first Emaxx with off brand hop-ups and began to realize that if you buy cheap stuff to save money up front that it will cost you more in the long run in time, money, not to mention agrivation and frustration. So if you are on the fence because of deciding dollars verse quality of products, then wait it out and get what you really want to make your project truly worth your efforts and then you will really enjoy it. Lets face it none of us can afford what we are doing here, but still we just have to do it for our own self gratification. That is what makes this so much fun all around. Have a great day and keep up the good work guys.
