Ha - lol..... I had a feeling other's from here were watching........

Re the gearing: That's good to hear - I e-mailed the guy selling it and he said he was running it in a CRT.5 but it ran hot (around 160-170) with 12, 14 and 16 gearing.

I didn't find out what esc or batteries he was using though - I've found with the MM (and the Mamba25 for that matter) that Low start power and Lowest timing is really the way to go as far as motor heat goes - anything more and things get hot.

I spoke with CC support for a while one day and the guy told me that timing advance on a brushless motor is somewhat irrelevant as any gain made by increasing timing is nothing more than a few percent in speed. The best suggestion was to control speed with gearing and not timing - since I started doing that with the MM and the Mamba25 I have not had really any heat issues with either esc or any motors, unless I am overgearing.
