Either way, I just want to make sure I'm getting the right truggy for me. I'm only interested in racing - not bashing. I currently have a X1-CRT pro and it's great . . . however, I would really like to go to higher voltage, I have a new battery design I would like to implement, want better turning radius, and I like the idea of a new project.

Anyway, that was leading me to the 8-T but I'm not totally sold yet. I also liked the MBX5T but it's not really supported at my LHS for parts. The XT8 seems nice, but doesn't have threaded shocks or the lower profile tires (fixable). I also don't know if the shocks are the oversized style like the 8-T and the new CRT shocks.
the shocks aren't like losi shocks in size and from my experience i have had more problems setting up ride hight with threaded shocks than with non threaded. with non threaded the spacers are labled in mm, so you always know how much preload is there. also, look at most high end buggys, they use spacers also. just a thought.

luxury!
