any 17mm hex that is made for the maxx/revo should work right with the UE cvds (i say 'should', as i have no experience with 17mm adapters. only 23mm ones). but as long as the adapter (regardless of who makes it) has the hex shape cut out of the back to accept the metal UE hex, it'll work.

here, it appears there is nothing special about how the wheel attaches to the 17mm hex.
