I had my experience with SS ones as well, they'll do OK. The ones you take in and out a lot will be the ones that will give probs, especially if you're not using a good driver.

They best thing for hinge pins in alum bulks is to go with andened steel pins. No one makes them - its a do it yourself deal using ejector pins. Its great if your bulks are drilled and tapped for set screws like dace bulks or UE VBS - no eclips!. I just installed a set of hybrids and wanted to drill and tap them, but thought better of it. I use a smidge of shoe goo or silicone cement on the eclips and don't seem to have much prob with losing them.

I don't care for them either, though!
