I would check on the Traxxas website to see how many teeth the wide gearing option uses for 2nd gear, then compare that to the gears you already have. Chances are though that you just have the standard gear ratio stuff installed, in which case you would have to buy the kit for the wide ratio conversion. Since its locked into 2nd you wont need the optidrive stuff- check out BrianGs
