the oemrc esc is rated at 100a, and i finally re-re-re-reread patrick's comment and i think i finally got it! id personally rather go with the 2230 as well because 1. it draws less amps 2. its a mild motor for a 1/5 scale, and if i ever build my brushless 6x6 mgt, that motor would be well suited for the application.
