Maximiazer makes an adapter, and I carry them . I made an e-maxx similar to a 1/8 buggy a while back (yellow body with blue flames-seen as a truggy in the picture section). It worked quite well and looked a lot like a 1/8 buggy when it was done, though it handled better due to the wider suspension arms.
