A larger rotor allows for larger/stronger magnets. But, if I read NovakTwo's post correctly, the rotor won't get bigger, just the shaft.

We're developing this rotor in conjunction with Bob's new 8th scale conversion kits. He's done most of the testing with the existing rotor, but he's not as hard on the equipment as some customers.
I'l check with the design team about the rotor size and also the material used. I'm assuming that the new rotors will be made from the higher temp material we use in the new
tuning rotors.
