.... oh crap, not even close! The new tranny is 41mm by 52mm you said, but the old tranny bolt pattern in 54mm wide by 34mm long (outter most mounting bolts). Thankfully since the new tranny is narrower, it will still fit where the old one goes, but being longer as it were, will require a rather clever mounting adaptor- time to get designing me thinks, then I can sell it to the noobs on the traxxas forum, ha ha ha!....
