OK, correct me if I'm wrong here.

It looks like to me this will be the gearing options.

Existing gears inside the transmission are 33/18 or 1.83:1

The close ratio set is 21/18 or 1.16:1 Which is a much higher 2nd gear.

The wide ratio set is 26/13 or 2:1 Which is a slightly lower 1st gear.
