I'm not sure if I'm just lucky but I have not had a problem with the LVC on my controller. I have been able to take up to 4500mah out of my pack just during general bashing. I have been wanting to do a test run through a large field of tall grass to see how fast I can dump the pack and see if the high stress kicks in the LVC sooner. If I get a chance I'll do this and let you know the outcome.
I do not have a data logger (just not in the budget ATM) so I cannot provide any hard data. I have run both the 5s evo25 4900 and a pair of Trakpower 2s 4900mah 20c gold bricks with good results. I seem to get about 3 -5 minutes less runtime from the gold bricks then I do when running them in my novak 6.5 emaxx system. However I figure that would be normal since the novak is maybe 550 watts and the neu is @ 1500 watts. Perhaps one of the guys who know the math for these things can confirm or deny this?
I think that at least some of the problems that others have reported were caused by the way that this controller handles the voltage cutoff (not a hard set value like other LVC's) combined with their batteries ability to provide sustained voltage levels throughout the discharge period. This is of course purely speculation without knowing specific setups, battery types, etc.
The only issue I seem to have with my controller is that the freewheel function does not seem to work properly... aside from that it really is a nice setup that runs very cool.
