Don't even think about installing it before beefing up the driveline. The obvious change is an aluminum idler gear, which will NOT cause radio interference (as long as you goop enough grease on it) and will just be strong. You can use the stock sliders until the outdrives die (prob. not that long), and then switch to steel outdrives. CVD's can limit shock travel, so stick with the sliders as long as possible. The other option is to use HPI MT dogbones and CVD outdrives, but they can get quite a bit of play.....still, they work quite well.
