Yeah...this is the 2700kv Neu and I was running the only extra mod 1 pinion I had (18T) with a 46T spur...so the cogging didn't surprise me. What did surprise was that it really didn't cog that bad considering the setup. I'll probably order a 12,13, and 14T set and experiment with those. I once attempted to run a Neu 1515 2.5D/F with 3S and 12/46 gearing using a MMax and I basically had to push start the darn thing to get it to go! In fact that is the first setup I had in this CRT...I got tired of messing with the MMax/Neu combo and ordered this the 1.5D/F and 22418 from Mike.

I'll the 14 tooth will eliminate the cogging, but I would like to know your setting on the MGM as well to be completely sure. The Mamba Max has trouble with motor that has a strong magnet connection with the stator. I heard some guys here are having great succes with the Mamba/Neu set up.
