There are actually quite a few active, and retired military people around here. Including a few officers as well. Getting involved in the RC community is a great way to fill your idle time and stay out of trouble. It is much better than pooring your money down the drain on booze and cigarettes. I was on the USS John Hancock out of Mayport in 1995. I retired in 97 Chief Engineman (SW).
