Sorry to hear about your misfortune George16 with the PayPal issue. It sounds just aweful, but it also sounds like this kid is learning a valuable lesson as well. I don't think he is intentionally trying to screw you on this. I think he is just a punk kid who has his values a bit out of wack. Good luck getting this resolved Man. I hope that it ends well for everyone involved.
Believe me being retired is sooooo cool. I still work, but not because I have to anymore. I work to keep busy and to pay for the toys and joys in our lives now. We have eight kids between us (4 boys & 4 girls), and the three youngest ones will be living with us very soon (9 "girl", 11, & 12 "boys"). The rest are grown now and on their own. The two younger boys are extremely interested in these trucks & have helicopters as well, and we hope to have a lot of fun with them.
I have had to steer clear of the nitro just because of all the moving about from country to country every two to three years, but trust me if you do get involved with the E-power that is out here now, you will have much more fun and less mess to worry about. HV brushless power with Lipo technology is so awsome and clean to work with. It is a joy just to work on these trucks, and I have four builds nearly finished right now for racing/bashing. All four of them are extended SuperMaxx projects with metal everything that I have pain stakingly researched, purchased, and built from scratch (piece by piece).
