In Brasil they sell some big fire crackers called "Rojao". My cousins and I stuck one in a glass bottle and instead of me running behind the brick fence, I went behind the light pole which in Brasil are made out of concrete and are about 16 inches wide. Well the "Rojao" went off and I got showered by bits of glass and it didn't feel good at all. Here are a few links of a "Rojao" in action:
