Awesome controller. Go for it. I have 3 of them. Kontronik under rate their controllers and some of the guys that has it in their helicopters have seen 100A+ out of it. Just be carefull with the brakes:

I think one of those videos had the 40A version. The only problem with the 40A is the capacitor. I had one problem with one of my 55A, which was way overgeared and powering a Align 600L for some speed run. In you case you will enjoy a very well built controller.
