I could probably get used to pitching the rear end around in turns but I'm thinking that trying to slow down after long straights would be tough. I don't want it to feel like a 2wd stadium truck for sure.

I'm running a MGM 16018 controller and about the most punch control I can run before it starts feeling really mushy is .39 and I prefer less then that when I can. I am trying to force myself to deal with it as it does cut down on drivetrain abuse and current spikes.
Although I suspect that small amount may not be cutting the current spikes all that much.

I have the battery weight as far forward as possible on the revo chassis to help steering. This also tends to make the nose want to drop on most jumps so again this may or may not be a problem.

Maybe it's time for me to build a 1/8 truggy. There are getting to be less people running MT's at the track near me and lately I've been running against the 1/8 guys anyways...
