i had freind who knew nothing about rc and he got a cheap little rusty for 30 bucks and he loves it. it is plenty speed for him.

when he uses my xt8 he is in shock and of course he loves it but still.

for a first time truck i would say definetly a rustler.

you decide if you want a vxl or an xl5 or whatever.
