Sikeston34m- Ya I plan to use CVD's and to drastically trim the shafts to the right length. This is just temperary. Im also going to have a guy I know lathe off all of the threads off the one shaft and cut it to about 15mm off the motor. As for gear ratio, 13t bevel and 47t diff ring gear. Im not 100% sure of the gear ratio but Im guessing its 3.61.

First of all, save your money on the Lathe work. There's a better way.
How long is your motor in mm? IF the motor shaft is 6mm, then you could use a Revo transmission output shaft. The tranny output shaft is 85mm long, If this works with your motor, then cvd's are a direct hookup!
If your motor shaft is 8mm in diameter, then replace it with a longer 8mm shaft, then look at what RC Monster has in their bag of goodies.

This is a 8mm drive shaft adapter that would allow you to hook driveshafts directly to the motor shaft. Check this out.
If you are going to be successful with this project, you MUST make the drivetrain VERY tough.
Let me know what you think.
If you'll give me a link to the motor, I can check out the specs and give you some more input.
Good Luck My Friend.
