Plus it is not an auto shift, it requires a 3 channel radio to operate.

Looks like we will not have the killer 1.16 ratio for 2nd gear. Poo!

I guess that my ponderings were actually worth something.

Heres some pics

Notice the double gear on the rear gearset.
Well Poo!

I wasn't counting on a double reduction idler gear.

A 3 channel Radio isn't a problem. I use my rechargeable TQ3 for everything I run anyway.

I ordered the output gear package just so I could check them out and try to understand this setup, (before the description was posted).

There is going to be pro's and con's to this 2 speed kit.

Both output gears are the same tooth count, but look thinner and weaker than the single speed output gear. This also adds a drive dog, but it is somewhat smaller than the original tranny drive dog. The upside is, they do appear to be made from a better material, Delrin I believe.

This worries me. I had NO problem breaking the teeth that engage the output gears on the original drive dog. I have even stripped out the original drive dog hole that puts the spin on the output shaft.

Well Poo! It does look like I'm running in 2nd gear afterall.

The Wide Ratio set will make 1st gear like running a Rock Crawler, which could be fun.

I will still get the kit and see if it's tough or not. Hmmmm............The possibilities.............

With all of this being said, This still doesn't explain the pegs on the single speed output gear OR the sensor window in the tranny casing. Any ideas?
