As a buyer, I like the new policy better, since it gives you more power. But as a seller, this sucks. I sell on ebay from time to time, and am proud to say that I've kept my 100% after over 430 transactions.
This makes it a lot tougher for the "little" guy trying to sell something. Even if he/she is the most honest and caring seller in the world. Now he/she has got to kiss the a** of the buyer no matter how ridiculous his/her claim is or suffer a neg feedback. If my perfect rating gets ruined by someone trying to take advantage of the system, I'm going to be irate. Its taken me years to get this rating, and I already make sure that all my buyers are happy.
I understand what ebay is trying to do here, but I don't think this is the best option.
There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.
