Yes, that is the chassis most on this board are running (some in CF). There is no such thing as a forward only conversion on an electric vehicle (except the speed control setting),. The motor is also the brakes, so a forward only transmission would not work (unless you added mechanical brakes, which would add weight). The stock e-maxx tranny is pretty strong, but the UE idler gears are needed once you go with a nice brushless powerplant. The ideal set-up will of course depend on your cell count and driving style, but the 9918 Warrior (
