Well, by my calculations . . . if I had the 2200kv motor with a 10t pinion I would still have a 60 mph top speed and hit 50,000 rpms.
So, what I've done is go out and buy a 1515 Neu 1100 kv motor. With a 15t pinion, that will be topped out at about 40 to 45 mph and 24,000 rpms.
I'll be getting the esc by itself now.
