Personally, I am a pretty open minded person when it comes to rules. I'd rather be flexible and have more people show up, than play a hard line. if it fits dimensions, and weight restrictions then who cares? it's down to driver and tire choice
and Cain, see we went with 5200 mah capacity? fight the good fight baby. (we've been emailing back and forth lately). that's a big bump in capacity limits.

Mod:
Motors may have machine or hand wound armatures with any number of winds (and strands) that you wish, and timing may be adjustable.
Armatures may be balanced using either epoxy or drilling.
Motors may have either bushings or bearings.
Quad Magnet motors are allowed.
Brushless systems are allowed in 4wd mod.
Manufacturer of the armature and can do not have to be the same. Mixing is allowed. **
Batteries – NiCd, NiMh or Lithium based batteries are legal.
Maximum voltage 7.4v
Maximum Mah 5200
