I was under the impression that the fiegao motors were of higher quality that the CC motors. I understand the end bell problem, but other than that arn't they better?
I've only had the CC-5700 and an Ammo 36-50-2300 so far but I've just burnt up the CC doing speed runs on 3S (first time slacking on watching the heat :( ) so eventually I'll be going after a motor in the 4600KV range.
I'm running them in a XXXT and an Academy SB-V2 Pro which has very little air flow, so heat in the buggy is a big issue. I'll be running it on 3S with a modded MM.I'll use 3S, 4S, and 5S with the 2300KV I already have. I just want the ~4600KV for speed runs and hyper bashing...
Is there a shorter (than 50mm) can motor that will take the SB-V2 to 50+mph on 3S without major heat problems? For less than $100?
EDIT: The SB-V2 Pro is 3.5 pounds, 4WD, the diffs are 2.3:1 ratio, spur & pinion are 48p 46-52 tooth and will fit 15-26 tooth pinion gears.
If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...
