Alrighty then!
I have a fresh (to me!) hyper8 buggy that I plan on testing my align 600l motor in. Now I have a few maxamps 2100 based packs, enough to do 6s 4200 mah. So I plan to mount the motor where the gas tank would go, and make a pair of battery trays in the rear on either side of the rear chassis brace.
Methinks I can use one of my trusty quark 65 roadster escs to motivate this beasty. Here are the specs from align on the motor, 1620kv, and a 65 amp max. Now I know that the max amp rating is not based on land vehicle usage, just the trex600 heli.

And the quark 65 is supposedly good for 65amp constant, 90 amp surge and 150 amp spike, so I figure it may be able to keep up?!

65amps at 6s would be almost 2hp, which were the highest recorded spikes in my 7xl, 4s powered buggy. I am guessing that adding an extra cap would be a good idea. Maybe I will add a heatsink to the case too.
Let me know what you guys think...
