The buggy runs very smooth at both low and high speeds (powerful too!). Nothing is binding, warped, or loose, and everything runs fine. Its just very loud at the start. I can't seem to figure it out. Anyone got a suggestion?

That "noise" you mention is (if it's what I think it is) the gear mesh slapping when the neu flips between each of it's poles at low speed. The magnets are so strong, once the rotor makes it past a pole, it quickly spins to the next pole faster than the gears are spinning when at running at very low speeds. Had me confused for quite some time. In fact, you can roll it while it is turned off and start to hear the effect. You may notice if you pull back on the truck while pushing it (if this makes sense) such that is is rolling against a constant force, the noise goes away since the mesh is alway help in contact. Least this is what I found on my 1515 2.5d.
grammar edit: the mesh is always held in contact.
