I have tried it several times both in the states and overseas and the feel of F-1 racing is always the same. There is no real comfort zone for watching the race unless you are in a suite with the big screen in front of you. I have been to dozens of NASCAR events and thr focus of the track owners has always been to try and set up the facilities so that a large % of the fans can see what is going on over the entire track no matter where they sit. Plus at most of the tracks when you get hungry there is no shortage of food stands near by to fee your face, choke down a beer, or even purchase fanatic gear. That is why the sport has become so darned popular.

You have apoint. F1 is the same, now with all the rules, but the last time I watched F1 it was still exciting. They should bring back the turbo charged engines. I would love to see a F1 go 300mph. I think Nelson Piquet had the fastest speed of over 220mph. I'm not 100% sure, I was just a kid in Brasil going nuts everytime I watched F1.
