I tried that without the PiStix.. with my 3PK and Spektrum, I had to re-calibrate it every time... And I can't affor a 60MPH RC running out of control...

I had 2x 1940's and 2x 40.160 go into a pond with 48 GP3300 Rainbow packs.... along with my ANCNM Maxx...

What Radio system are you using?...
