Arthur has explaind the precise procedure in the past, and its alot simpler than you might think:

1. Short 2 wires of each motor with a single 1.2v cell, they will rotate to a certain posistion. (do this with the pinions installed to make life easier later).
2. Wire the motors in parallel, then to the esc.
3. Bolt the motors to the motor mount, and mesh them to the spur; when you rotate one motors shaft, the other should follow automatically due to the mechanical magnetic cogging... thing.
4. With the motors meshed to the spur, you can now treat them as one motor in essence, only they will draw double the amps since they are in parallel. You really do need a good esc and batts for this setup.
