Yeah it's has similarities with a pede there's no denying that. Let's lok at the fact that the truck will be very reasonably priced. I like my emaxx don't get me wrong. What I'm tired of is charging and maintaining all the batteries. 2 packs per run.(my charger does 2 at a time but still) This would run nicely with just one pack. The stampede and rustler have been clocked at over 70 mph just about stock, with just some simple gearing changes on a VXL. This has to be capable of closely the same thing. I think it will be less work and more fun. I may part out my g2 chassis 'ed emaxx just to fund this project.
You can also race side to side without rubbing wheels. I think that will be really cool. It's all plastic too and the parts will be cheap.
