Just a update for you guys....

I tried out my savage with the turnigy HV esc and a feigao 7XL I had laying around with a zippy 4s 4500mah 21c lipo and it kicked some major butt. Yes the turnigy does have a soft start to it which I kind of like. Anyway I was either using a 16 or 18T pinion with the 7XL and the top speed is about the same as when I was running a axial .32 nitro engine in it.

Wheelie's are still possible with this setup but also avoidable too if your smart with you trigger finger. Anyway I am very impressed with the turnigy esc, lotta bang for low buck.

I plan to install my kb45 8XL in the next day or two and try it out with my 4s and 6s batteries. I am starting to think that the kb45 8XL & 6s lipo will be way too much power after seeing this thing go on ONLY

a feigao 7XL & 4s setup.

I will keep you guys posted....
