This wonderfull thingy allows you to mount a fan directly to it. 2mm screws just grab nicely inbetween the fins.
As for the ESC, a fan never hurts. I like them directly on the heatsink.

Dafni, is that 40mmx40mm fan that you put on you 9920? Looks cool. Im planning to put that on my 9920 (when mike has them in stock) 40mmx40mm is the smallest fan I can find at the moment.
And 1 more question, I've found a powerful 40mm fan with 11.48cfm and 9200rpm. this is the highest cfm and RPM ive seen so far for a 40mm fan. But the problem is, it has 3 leads (pins). I know that most u use the fans that has only 2 leads, +ve and ground. can I still use this? How can i connect the fan with the rest of the electronics?
