Man, you HAVE been gone for a couple of weeks! lol. Yeah, there was a thread about this a bit ago. Don't remember anything about a better/different bearing, but the screwed endplate and flat spot was discussed. Keep in mind that the presence of those screws will require mods done to the end cover Mike sells...
