I know plastic gears arent supposed to need grease, but if you say its happening after high speed runs, it could possibly be building up heat and softening the plastic allowing it to strip more easily. A light coat of grease on the gears might help prevent the friction that builds heat.
Dont know if this is actually the case, just a theory to throw out there.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
