Anybody try the rim fire motors? They are cheeper than the AXI. AXI also does not have a 500kv motor in that size.

I have tried this Rimfire motor in a Direct Drive to tranny input shaft E maxx application.

See that tiny set screw for the motor shaft? I couldn't get it to hold up under the stopping and starting. It only had one set screw. Multiple set screws is much better.

The Rotating Endbell would clang around making contact with the Armature also. Not Good.

I don't think the Quality of the Rimfire is up to par for this IMO.
