The R/R diffs are definitely another weak spot, but you can attack that in two ways depending on your budget:
1: Cheap. Just get a set of aluminum cups. This prevents cup flexing, which is what causes bad meshing and stripping in the spider gears. Still, there are only 2 spider gears so they will wear out over time, but they will last a lot longer.
2: Expensive. Get the Revo hybrid units Mikes sells. They use 4 spider gears so will last a lot longer.
In either case, make sure to shim the ring/pinion gear so they are perfect.
