Once you get the Traxxas wing mount it protects the sway bars pretty well and the rear bumper mounts to the wing mount for further protection. You'll see once you get it. Its a solid setup. No worries. Even without it, I havent heard of anyone tearing it up.
Dont the sway bars just make a world of diference in the handleing department.
